Here are the steps to steam and place the folds in your blackout curtains:

STEP 1) Steaming the curtains with a steam iron

Steps to follow:

1. Position the steam iron: Hold the steam iron about 15-20 cm away from the fabric of the curtain.
2. Pass the steam over the folds: Start passing the steam nozzle over the folds of the curtain.
3. Let the steam act: Let the steam penetrate the fabric for a few seconds. The folds will begin to relax.
4. Repeat if necessary: If some folds persist, you can repeat the operation on those specific areas by directing the steam directly onto them.

STEP 2) Adding clips to the bottom of the curtains to create beautiful folds

Steps to follow:

1. Add clips: Add clips to the bottom of the curtains. This method creates a nice pleated effect.
2. Leave the clips in place: Leave the clips in place for about 24 to 48 hours or longer if necessary, for the effect to be optimal.
